Rechargeable batteries carry inherent risks, notably thermal runaway triggered by temperature fluctuations, impacts, or production flaws. These risks imperil safety, potentially leading to hard-to-extinguish battery fires that pose serious threats to lives and property.
• SUITABLE FOR – The storage and charging of the following battery types – power tools, garden tools, e-bikes/scooters, drones, laptop, mobile phone, plus your standard household rechargeable batteries AAA, AA, Type C, Type D, 9V.
• SMOKE DETECTOR/ALARM – Fitted with internal smoke detector and external, wireless alarm.
• CHARGING – Safely charge your Lithium batteries using the fitted power points – 2 Double PDUs, 4 sockets.
• WARNING LABELS – Fitted with warning label in accordance with ISO 3864 and ISO 7010, as well as the European directive 92/58/EEC.
• CONSTRUCTION – Double wall construction with internal fill of our patented Styronite F insulation, provide a cabinet of great strength and fire/heat resistance. Fire and impact tested from 9.1 metres for resistance to the impact of falling through the burning floors of a building.
• LOCKING – Fitted with a high-quality key lock supplied with two keys.
• FIRE PROTECTION – Tested to Swedish NT Fire 017-90 Paper, providing 90 minutes fire protection for paper documents. SECURITY PROTECTION – The safe is recommended for an overnight cash risk of £2,500 or £25,000 valuables*.
