How to Use a LifeVac Anti-Choking Device
Push and twist the chosen mask into the base of the LifeVac unit.
Place the mask firmly over the casualty’s mouth and nose using your non-dominant hand, ensuring their head is tilted back.
With your dominant hand, depress the LifeVac handle and then pull upwards with a short, firm motion, keeping the mask sealed in place throughout.
Roll the person onto their side, clear any debris from their mouth, and repeat up to five times if the obstruction has not been removed.

How Does It Work?
LifeVac incorporates two patented discs that allow for interchangeable mask sizes, because one size does not fit all. Its patented one-way valve system prevents air from being pushed into the airway during use.

The non-invasive design means no tubes enter the mouth or throat, eliminating the risk of pushing the tongue back or driving the obstruction deeper, critical in a high-pressure situation. It also avoids the risk of tube blockages that could prevent effective suction if only part of the obstruction is cleared.
