A Unique Valve and Suction Mechanism
LifeVac features a patented valve and suction design engineered to minimise the risk of driving an obstruction deeper into the airway or causing additional harm. This advanced mechanism is a key element that distinguishes LifeVac from counterfeit or inferior products.

When the device is depressed, the mask forms a secure seal around the casualty’s mouth and nose, forcing air out through side vents via the one-way valve. This ensures air can exit but cannot flow back into the device, preventing any downward pressure that could worsen the obstruction.

How to Use the LifeVac EMS Device
Push and twist the selected mask into the base of the LifeVac unit.
Place the mask firmly over the casualty’s mouth and nose with your non-dominant hand, ensuring their head is tilted back.
With your dominant hand, depress the handle and then pull upward with a short, firm motion, maintaining the seal throughout.
Roll the casualty onto their side, clear any debris from their mouth, and repeat up to five times if the obstruction remains.
